Shimenawa ….(標縄・注連縄・七五三縄)lengths of braided rope make by rice straw and used for decorate to Shrine during the New Year period in Japan. Community farmers of Ikeda city in Fukui prefecture made a Shimenawa for decorate to entrance of Shrine up coming New Year.
