Sunday Book Market

Sundays are busy days at the Daryagani second hand “Sunday Book Market” in Old Delhi. Over a stretch of the pavement running more than 1 km, over 100 booksellers cater to their clients. On Sundays most come here looking for cheap buys, especially students and book lovers, others come here seeking buyers, for books that have outlived their usefulness.

Oppadi

Oppadi, Traditional Tamil folk art performs by professional musicians at South Indian. Some years before oppadi folk art are famous in south India. Few generations later which folk art not in use express to sadness.

She is the traditional Oppadi folk art performer family’s woman in Chennai. “I’m a last generation person of playing Oppadi in my family. My children don’t like to Oppadi perform but one of son is folk dancer. I have six children. Ten years earlier I was done some kind day labor works. Later I prefer to play Oppadi when I was started to play Oppadi my income become a better too”.

New Technology in an Old of Delhi.

India Gate

India Gate, one of the largest war memorials in India is located in the heart of the capital New Delhi. It was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens a well known British architecht.

Garbage dump in Delhi

Delhi struggles to dispose of the 6,000 tonnes of solid waste generated daily, despite 50,000 MCD sweepers and 700 garbage trucks to collect the garbage from 3,000 points across the city.

Delhi huge garbage dump located in East Delhi across Yamuna River. The capital’s municipal council plans to move garbage dumps underground as part of it agenda for a clean Delhi.
